TPL introduces its line of standard and custom bi-metallic sleeve bearings. The inside riding surface of the bearing can be almost any grade of bronze, brass, or copper, while the outer body can be virtually any grade of steel, aluminum or other metal to match your application. Sizes range from a ¼" shaft up to 6" in ID. The thickness of the inside and outside layers can also be specified. For installations that utilize non-round housings, custom shapes can be specified.

TPL's bimetallic bearings represent a leap forward in bearing technology because the bearing is already secured in the housing, which can be machined, drilled or welded into place. They eliminate the need to press the bearings into their housing. TPL's bimetallic bearings also eliminate the possibility of the bearing sliding out of position during use because TPL's process metallurgically bonds the bearing into the housing.

Bearing applications include: rotating shafts, transmissions, gear boxes, wheels and casters, pin joints in hydraulic and mechanical arms, precision motion systems and anything else that requires a housed bearing.
