A complete range of trim presses is offered from Brown for use with high-speed continuous thermoforming equipment. Trim presses are capable of a variety of tasks from straight perimeter trimming. Progressive trim applications for pre-punching and perimeter trim, counting and stacking. Trimming is completed in single or multiple rows with speeds up to 160 cycles per minute. Each trim press is designed, engineered and built for maximum durability and service life.

LS-Model

Trim press features the moving platen motion controlled through a servo motor and drive. In addition to constant speed applications, the servo drive allows profiling the trim speed motion. Common applications are slowing down for a controlled long ejection into product handling systems, speed up to make up the loop, and then maintain cycle time with the thermoformer, and slow withdrawal and fast acceleration of the trim motion for high tonnage low speed processes. Trim presses are designed with additional stroke length to pre-punch and trim deep draw containers in a progressive trim application.
