All new from Dewetron, the DEWE-5000 packs a powerful punch. The first thing you'll notice is the big, bright 17" TFT display (1280x1024 resolution). Besides being a joy to work with, the display folds down and locks into place, protecting it when not in use. Below the display is a small keyboard and trackball, built right into the top of the system for easy operation. Next, see how the plug-in modules are right up front? Makes sense, doesn't it? Connecting your signals and generally seeing what's going on with the inputs have never been easier or more convenient.

The beauty of the outside is rivaled by the power on the inside. A full ATX motherboard and lots of PCI slots for expandability are in there, with easy access to them using a simple screwdriver. The front panel also contains a CD-R/W and DVD-ROM combo drive, so you can burn tons of data to inexpensive CD media.

The standard DEWE-5000 has 16 slots for Dewetron's broad range of plug-in signal conditioners. Other models are available with expansion chasses up to 64 total modules in a single system. Best of all, this same platform is available in other versions for Transient Recording, Dynamic Signal Analysis, Power Quality, and even as a portable industrial PC (without the signal conditioning part of course -- eliminating it makes room for one or two removable hard drives right on the front panel.
