China-Singapore- Weidmann Diagnostic Solutions Inc. (formerly Weidmann-ACTI, Inc.) has been appointed the Sales and Technical Representative for BearingLifeGuard tm Predictive Maintenance products in China. WDS was formed in 2000 through the merger of two separate companies with diverse backgrounds that complemented each other in both expertise and markets served.
Weidmann Technical Services, Inc., was formed in 1996 by a group of Weidmann Transformer Engineers with several years of experience within the Weidmann Group in the design of insulation systems for electrical transformers. The Weidmann Group Companies are worldwide leaders in insulation systems technology for power and distribution transformers with headquarters in Rapperswil, Switzerland. Weidmann Technical Services provided engineering solutions including: optimum loading studies, condition appraisals, and diagnostic and preventive maintenance testing of electrical insulating materials for electric utilities, electrical utility service companies, equipment manufacturers and industrial clients.
