The Bearing LifeGuard™ Model MDA-400 is a unique handheld instrument designed for use by experts in maintenance-not vibration analysis. It puts important useful information on the condition of your rolling element bearings in your hands right at the machine site. Easily uploaded to your own Windows XP laptop with its included BearingLifGuard software, it immediately displays the information you need. The display includes estimates on the probability of failure, the reduction in expected life, the financial risk and provides fault alarm warnings. You don't have to do any complicated vibration analysis. The MDA 400 does all the work for you by performing multiple widely accepted diagnostic bearing analysis procedures and displaying results.

It collects data in about 5 seconds and stores more than 500 scheduled or unscheduled data points. The stored data may be ActiveSynch or wirelessly uploaded to a supervisory Windows XP PC on site or back at the office, with the companion MDA (Multiple Discriminant Analysis) Bearing LifeGuard software for trending and further detailed analysis if needed. This software includes all of the powerful features of the MDA 100 and 200 systems. It works with most standard industrial grade 100 mv/g, IEPE accelerometers or a special low cost MEMs sensor. The 400 includes a built in Barcode scanner and a 100 kHz NI-DAQ with SMA IEPE or or MEMs adaptor power supply along with a convenient belt pouch.
