High Performance Alloys offers large diameter Cond. B stainless bars and flats. Most mills will only produce up to 1.5" Diameter product with these higher properties - We offer to fill the gap, producing stainless bars as large as 4" Diameter with higher mechanical properties. This technology works well for Nickel based super alloys as well, which is our primary market.

Through our experience, we have found many buyers and engineers are not able to fulfill their large diameter high strength component needs. We also offer to make bars with properties higher than specification (upon requirement), as each application is different. We can produce bars as small as 0.156" Dia with enhanced mechanical properties.

Many times stems, shafts, seats and bushings can benefit from a little extra strength. This is either beneficial due to mechanical strength needs due to reduced cross section or deformation issues. It can also help with a hardness requirement to reduce wear and galling.
