The DTS 3000 Series industrial cooling unit was designed with high temperature compressors and larger condenser for outdoor applications with a maximum ambient temperature of 131° F - such as roadside, rooftop or desert locations. The indoor NEMA Type 12 units can handle maximum rating and be mounted near high temperature equipment such as industrial ovens, furnaces and boilers.

Cooling Based on ACTUAL Performance - Internal Airflow Paths Designed to Increase Efficiency

Hot spots mainly form in the region in and around the top of the enclosure due to undercuts or installations that prevent the natural flow of air. This action is intensified by ambient temperature rise.

Utilizing a long air path to deliver cool air to the lower part of the enclosure allows the air to pass through components in the enclosure naturally - which equates to higher energy efficiency. By having the air intake at the top of the enclosure, hot air is removed from the top and cooler air blown in at the bottom, further supporting natural convection.
