Replacement Insulation & Designs Up to 1800°C

Rath Incorporated offers a complete line of vacuum-formed insulating boards and cylinders for laboratory furnaces and kilns for applications up to 1800°C. Whether you have a front or bottom loading batch kiln, a vertical or horizontal tube furnace, electrically heated or gas-fired, oxidizing or reducing environment, Rath Incorporated has the materials, design, and services to help you reline your equipment.

Vacuum Formed Insulation

KVS 124 - KVS 184

  • Available in boards, cylinders and shapes for use up to 1800°C
  • Boards – ½" to 2" standard – 18" x 24" and 24" x 36"; densities 18 to 45 pcf
  • Cylinders – whole and half shells up to 36" diameter

KVR 164

  • > 98% alumina for high chemical attack and reducing atmospheres
  • Available in boards, cylinders and shapes for use up to 1600°C

CNC Fabricated Components

ALTRA® Composite Roof System (ACS)

  • The design eliminates roof sagging and cracking for large chamber kilns and furnaces for temperatures up to 1800°C.

Butcher-Loc Composite Doors and Sills

  • The design minimizes the effects of thermal shock for front-loading chamber kilns and furnaces for temperatures up to 1800°C.
