The Eagle Design Group modular in-line adaptor is a double-ended female-to-female coupler which accepts 4, 6, 8, or 10-position modular RJ connectors. The 10-position connector used on both ends of this coupler creates a universal in-line adaptor. It is pinned straight through (Pin 1 to Pin 1). Available in shielded and non-shielded versions.

This adaptor can be used to extend any line cord having an RJ connector or to adapt RJ plugs having different pin counts. An example would be the connection of an RJ-12 to and RJ-45 plug.

Eagle Design Group is the industry innovator of the 10-position Modular Adaptor. This unique product contains ten contacts within a standard RJ45 female housing. This provides the capacity for additional signal lines or the ability to ground the complete system while maintaining the attributes of standard modularity.
