In 1952, when two engineers founded Vinylex Corporation,
a precedent was set that has been continued to the present day. Throughout
the nearly fifty years following, Vinylex has maintained that high level of technical
competence. The technical nature of the products which they manufacture and
the processes, materials, and equipment that are used to create them,
dictates that they continue to be a heavily engineering oriented organization.
Vinylex currently has 15 engineers on staff with well over 300 years of combined
plastic extrusion engineering experience.
Vinylex's staff is comprised of several different
engineering specialties. Their compounding facilities demand that we have both
chemical engineers as well as polymer scientists. The tooling departments
employ mechanical engineers and they have industrial, mechanical, and
electrical engineers maintaining their physical plant. Vinylex's construction market
products are sold by a sales team which is led by an engineer.
