Vacuum molding presses from Wabash MPI provide 30 tons to 500 tons of clamp force and are available in two models, the Slab Side press or the Vacuum Shroud press. On the Slab Side press the vacuum chamber offers faster production, higher quality and reduced scrap parts during compression molding or laminating. The Vacuum Shroud press features a vacuum shroud that improves the molding quality and ensures cavity filling by eliminating trapped air. This press is used in applications including molding rubber, silicone and composite materials, often over-molding inserts.
