Specialty power supplies are specialized or proprietary power supplies used with industry- and application-specific machinery, instrumentation, and equipment. This product area includes specialty power supplies for aerospace and satellite components, research and scientific equipment, telecommunication component power sources, and mobile field instrumentation. Voltage and current levels are often application-specific, and their power supplies must be designed primarily or exclusively for that use. Other specialty power supplies include amplifiers and power controllers for specialized industrial manufacturing equipment such as electrical winding machines, specialty heating and cooling equipment, and specialized assembly machines or systems.
