Actuation

   Actuation Type
   Your choices are...

   Pushbutton

An operator uses the pushbutton to activate the contacts.  Typically these are large pushbuttons and are appropriately labeled as emergency stop switches.

   Telescopic Antenna

Movement of the antenna in any direction will actuate the switch contacts and, by use of the appropriate equipment, stop the machine.

   Trip Wire (Rope Pull)

Emergency stop cable-pull systems can be actuated at any point along the “trip wire.”  Some trip wire devices are designed to operate if the cable breaks or goes slack.

   Trip Wire / Pushbutton Combination

Combination of trip wire and pushbutton design.  Typically they incorporate both a trip wire for actuation along any point of the cable and a pushbutton for emergency stopping at the end of the installation.

Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
   Minimum Operating Force (Trip Force)

The minimum force required to initiate switching.

Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value less than or equal to the specified value.
Trip Wire (Rope Pull) Features      For Trip Wire (Rope Pull) Actuation Only.
   Your choices are...

   Right Angle Pull

The trip wire must be actuated at a right angle from the switch body.

   Top Pull

The trip wire must be actuated from the top of the switch body.

   Broken Cable Detection

Broken cable, or slack, detection indicates when cable tension decreases from the pre-set tension.

Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
   Maximum Operating Distance (Rope Span):

     Typical cable span.

Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
