Switch Specifications


	Normally Open Contacts		A normally open switch is a relay contact pair that is open when the coil is not energized.
	Search Logic:		All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.

	Normally Closed Contacts		A normally closed switch is a relay contact pair that is closed when the coil is not energized.
	Search Logic:		All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.

	Changeover Contacts		Changeover, Typically Form C (SPDT)
	Search Logic:		All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.

	Positive Break Contacts?		Also called Positive Opening Contacts; The contact point opens reliably and remains open in activated position even in the event of mechanical failure, such as breakage of a spring or contact welding.
	Search Logic:		"Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.

Electrical Switch Specifications


	Maximum Current
	Search Logic:		All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.

	Maximum AC Voltage
	Search Logic:		All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.

	Maximum DC Voltage
	Search Logic:		All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.

Sensing / Break Range


	Sensing (Make) Range		The distance between the actuator and the sensing head to safely activate the relay outputs.
	Search Logic:		User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.

	Break Range		The distance between the actuator and the sensing head to ensure relay outputs are safely deactivated.
	Search Logic:		User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.

	Emergency Override		Locking mechanism can be overridden in emergency situations by using either a tool or an override key.

	Hermetically Sealed
	Magnetically Coded Actuator		Actuation by a specific (coded) magnetic-field array matched to the circuit’s reed array pattern.
	Manual Time Delay		Time Delay is used to protect an area where the hazard remains for a time even after the machine control has been turned off.
	Tamper Resistant		Protection against unauthorized adjustment or circumvention. Not easily bypassed.
	Visual Indicator		Contains an integral visual indicator such as an LED.
	Search Logic:		All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.

Environment


	Operating Temperature:		The temperature range over which the device must operate.
	Search Logic:		User may specify either, both, or neither of the limits in a "From - To" range; when both are specified, matching products will cover entire range. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
