Performance Specifications

Direction:      Direction of actuated motion as viewed from the armature side.
   Your choices are...

   Clockwise

Energized rotation is clockwise when viewed from armature flange end.

   Counterclockwise

Energized rotation is counterclockwise when viewed from armature flange end.

Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
   Maximum Rotary Stroke:

Full rotary travel of solenoid in angular units.

Search Logic:      User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
   Axial Stroke:

Axial travel of solenoid during rotary actuation, in distance units. This is a property of rotary solenoids that convert linear to axial motion via three balls and an inclined plane; true rotary solenoids exhibit no axial stroke during rotary movement.

Search Logic:      User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
   Response Time:

Time to move full stroke under no load.

Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value less than or equal to the specified value.
Power Rating (DC watts or AC VA):

This represents the input power possible for a solenoid with a specified winding at a specified voltage. The units for DC solenoids are watts (W) and the units for AC solenoids are volt-amps (VA).

Search Logic:      User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
   Starting Torque:

Torque when starting, at full rotary extension, de-energized.

Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
   Holding Torque:

Torque at zero stroke, fully energized (seated).

Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
Power Input

   DC Input Options:
   Your choices are...

   3VDC

Solenoid has a catalog rating for 3V DC input.

   6VDC

Solenoid has a catalog rating for 6V DC input.

   12VDC

Solenoid has a catalog rating for 12V DC input.

   24VDC

Solenoid has a catalog rating for 24V DC input.

   Other DC Voltage

Solenoid has a catalog rating for other DC input.

Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
   AC Input Options:
   Your choices are...

   24VAC

Solenoid has a catalog rating for 24V AC input.

   115VAC

Solenoid has a catalog rating for 115V AC input.

   230VAC

Solenoid has a catalog rating for 230V AC input.

   Other AC Voltage

Solenoid has a catalog rating for other AC input.

Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
Features

   Your choices are...

   Return Spring

Typically a torsion spring holding the plunger rotationally extended when not powered. Spring torque must be subtracted from starting torque to obtain available starting torque.

   UL Approved

Carries safety approval from Underwriters' Laboratories.

   Variable Position Control

Solenoids are often simple on-off devices; some, such as proportional solenoids, can be positioned anywhere along the stroke.

   Position Feedback

Integral encoder or other signal indicating position.

   Internal Drive Electronics

On-board or internal circuitry to regulate power, speed, range, or other motion control.

   Hermetically Sealed

     Airtight.

   Intrinsically Safe

Intrinsically safe (IS) is an adjective for equipment and wiring which is incapable of releasing sufficient electrical or thermal energy under normal or abnormal conditions to cause ignition of a specific hazardous atmospheric mixture in its most ignited concentration. The IS terminations and wiring may be brought into any hazardous location of any group classification for which it is accepted without requiring explosion proof housing or other means of protection.

Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
