AA Spectre Sensors is a manufacturer of premium performance industrial and aerospace pressure transducers. All design, manufacturing, assembly, testing and calibration are done in house.   Spectre’s series of digital, Precision transducers are tested in environmental chambers that simulate the customer’s exact pressure and temperature conditions.  Accuracy of 0.05% is standard on Spectre’s Precision Pressure Sensors with optional accuracies to 0.03%. Spectre is not another me-too supplier of strain gage or oil fill pressure transducers. Here is a quick list of some of their advantages on their standard units. 1. General Purpose/Industrial - Utilizes an oil-free, o-ring free, single-piece pressure sensor with a technology that provides up 70 times the raw output of conventional strain gage sensors.  Available pressure ranges from 0-10” WC to 0-30,000 PSI. 2. High Accuracy/Precision - All the advantages of the industrial (long term stability, greater raw output. wide pressure range selection) with the ability to achieve accuracies of up to 0.03% with digitally corrected outputs. 3. Combination Temperature/Pressure Transducer – Multiple outputs from one sensor.  Available in both General Purpose and Precision lines. 4. Hydraulic/Pressure Spike – Extremely robust sensors specifically designed for cyclic applications with pressure spikes.  Sensor is machined from one piece of stainless steel stock with no welds, no oil-fill, and no o-rings.   Accuracies to 0.04% are available in the Hydraulic line. 5. Sanitary – Thicker diaphragm with no loss in sensor sensitivity and superior temperature compensation. Unlike other manufactures, Spectre’s temperature compensation is done at the sensor face, not behind the entire fluid fill. 6. Oil-Free Differential – More rugged with no liability of product contamination or potential explosion caused by media incompatibility. 7. Submersible/Level Transducers -  A complete line of head pressure/level transducers in both full analog and digital precision designs.  8.  Deep Sea Submersible – Highly robust design with digital electronics designed specifically for the rigors of off-shore and deep water applications.  Available in premium materials of construction and with RS232/485 communications. 9.
