English roller chain sprockets engage chains in many different power transmission and conveyor systems. Sprockets and chains are often an economic, reliable drive system for long running, continuous drive applications with limited shock and torque loads. English sprockets are classified according to ANSI number designations.
Bolts are threaded rods or pins that fasten objects together. They usually have a head at one end and a thread at the other. Bolts are secured by threaded nuts, and are available in both metric and non-metric designations.
Flat belt pulleys are used in transmission systems that are driven by flat belts.
Flat belts are used in transmission and conveying systems. They feature transmission efficiency, cost effectiveness and ease of installation and use. Typical belt applications include conveyors, machine tools, and heavy industrial equipment.
Flexible couplings connect rotating members while allowing some degree of angular or parallel misalignment.
Gears are mechanical devices that transmit power and motion between axes.
Idler pulleys are used to take up slack, change the direction of transmission, or provide clutching action.
Lifting jacks are used for leveling or positioning heavy equipment, or for supporting structures. They use screw or cylinder-based actuators and are powered by hydraulic, mechanical, electric, or manual methods.
Mechanical clutches are assemblies consisting of elements for the connection and disconnection of shafts (clutch) in equipment drives.
Nuts are fasteners that are designed to fit around and secure a bolt or screw. The application determines the type of nut to use.
Precision shafting provides the highest degree of overall accuracy, concentricity, straightness and surface perfection attainable in commercial practice.
Rigid couplings connect rotating members such as shafts. They secure onto both members and provide transmission of torque and motion.
Roller chains are used in many power transmission designs. They are characterized by ANSI and BS/DIN standard sizes.
Screws are fasteners that consist of a threaded shaft at one end and, typically, a head at the other. They are inserted into solid materials and secured via rotation.
Torque limiters and slip clutches automatically slip or disengage the clutch at a predetermined torque.
Universal joints are flexible mechanical connections used to transmit rotary motion from one shaft to another shaft that is not in line with the first, or when alignment varies during service.
V-belt pulleys or sheaves mate with drive belts in numerous power transmission applications. They are made in many configurations such as tension idlers and variable speed / ratio pulleys.
V-belts and V-ribbed belts are power transmission drive belts with a triangular or trapezoidal cross section. They are available in a variety of belt materials, reinforcement styles, and speed configurations.
