Grob, Inc. cold rolled products have been proven to be superior in strength and surface finish to other
methods of manufacturing. During the cold forming process they are compressing the grain structure of the material
and the material is work hardened on the surface. Grob rolls the shape in long length bars; this give customers
the flexibility to make finished parts to their needs.
Grob, Inc. is currently tooled to roll more than 1,700 different shapes
from a wide variety of materials including mild and medium carbon steels,
stainless steels and aluminum. Bar stock lengths with a rolled outside
diameter of 3/16 to 6 inches may be rolled.
Timing pulleys, standard spur gears, involute splines, straight-sided splines, ball splines, gerotor
and ratchets are all typical Grob-rolled products.
Grob will economically custom tool to your specifications and provide a sample for your approval.
