History
The company started in 1991 as Sentir Semiconductor, Inc. in Santa Clara, California. In 1999, they were acquired by Merit® Medical Systems, Inc.—a manufacturer and marketer of disposable medical devices. Today, they operate as Merit Sensor Systems, Inc. in a state-of-the-art facility in South Jordan, UT.

Merit designs, engineers, manufactures, assembles, tests, markets and services die and packaged products. In addition, they offer you high production yields, expansive pressure ranges (5-10,000 psi), complete pressure measurement (absolute, gage, differential, vacuum) and exceptional operating temperature range (-40°C to 150°C) via their Sentium® process.
