Who are they?
N-TRON™ was founded in 1999 as a developer, manufacturer, and marketer of Ethernet network equipment for industrial applications. Their goal is to be internationally recognized as “The Industrial Network Company.”
N-TRON’s corporate headquarters are in Mobile, Alabama.
Meeting a Market Need
It is well established that technology products for industrial applications must be hardier than their commercial counterparts. A wide range of industrial computer equipment is available from a multitude of manufacturers. Equipment such as industrial PCs, ruggedized laptops, control systems, Ethernet I/O, and data acquisition equipment are routinely provided that meet industrial requirements.
In the past, industrial networking equipment was not available. Nodes were typically connected with individual wiring drops to a climate controlled environment. This created significant expense, complexity, and reliability issues.
N-TRON solves this problem by providing a complete family of industrial networking equipment. This allows all Ethernet nodes (i.e. controllers, PLCs, industrial computers, remote I/O, etc.) to be interconnected locally with high speed uplinks to the corporate network. N-Tron switches assure network availability by incorporating the following:

N-Tron also offers IP67 enclosures and PoE (Power Over Ethernet) on certain models. When network downtime is not an option, you need N-Tron Industrial Ethernet products.
Sales, Support, and Service
All N-TRON products carry a 3 year limited warranty that includes cross-shipment of a replacement product to minimize downtime. Products are available directly from N-TRON’s network of authorized distributors.
