The M&P Lab is a full-service materials testing laboratory and consultancy specializing in material identification, failure analysis, and product performance/specification testing. Originally established in the 1920’s to support GE’s Schenectady businesses, power generation and others, they became an independent laboratory in 1986. In addition to their Schenectady headquarters, a satellite location was established in Greenville, SC, in 2000. Their client base has continued to expand and includes a wide variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, defense, and medical devices, as well as manufacturers of chemicals, high-tech metals, plastics, ceramics, pulp and paper, and structural composites.
