HAZMAT training services train employees about the safe handling, storage and transportation, placarding, labeling, incident response, and document regulation requirements for hazardous materials (HAZMAT). HAZMAT training must be provided to any employee who is involved with the transportation of hazardous materials. These employees must be provided with hazardous materials training before performing any job, and retrained every three years. Each hazardous materials employee must track and report their trainings and certifications, which are defined by state, federal, and provincial departments of transportation (DOT).
