Manufacturing operations management (MOM) software is used to manage the creation, development, production, and distribution of products and services. There are many types of MOM software. Examples include production management software, performance analysis software, quality and compliance software, and human machine interface (HMI) software. Production management software provides real-time information about jobs and orders, labor and materials, machine status, and product shipments.
