About Metal Plates and Plate Stock
Metals and alloys in the form of flat plates or metal plate stock. Plates have a thickness of at least 0.250", but may be larger than 1/4". Plates are flat, wide and long stock forms. Plates surface or finish condition can vary from rough hot rolled, pickled & oiled, smooth cold finished, diamond patterned or textured, anti-slip, plated, galvanized, painted or coated. Metal plate and alloy platestock are used in a variety of applications such as raw material feed for machining or forming of parts, flooring or floor fabrication and building & construction materials.
