About Production Machining
Production machining services provide high-volume production runs and perform a variety of machining services. Examples include drilling, milling, turning, screw machining, Swiss machining, jig boring, broaching, deep-hole drilling, centerless grinding, creep feed grinding, double-disc grinding, internal grinding, and external grinding. Production machining services may also perform operations such as jig grinding, surface grinding, honing, laser machining, electric discharge machining (EDM), etching, electrochemical machining, photochemical machining, abrasive flow machining, and water or abrasive jet machining. Specialty machining services provide gear, jig, and fixture manufacturing; casting and forging machining; thread grinding and thread rolling, and tool and die manufacturing. Secondary operations for production machining services include anodizing, black oxide finishing, electroplating, heat treating, stress relieving, lapping, polishing, painting, powder coating, and welding.
