Industrial filtration equipment is used to filter, thicken or clarify a mixture of different elements. There are several different ways to classify products. Examples include by driving force (gravity, pressure, vacuum centrifuge); filtration mechanism (filter medium); process goal (cake, clarified liquid, or both); operating cycle (continuous or batch); material size (particle size), and process stage (pretreatment, solids concentration, solids separation).
