About Specialty Microprocessors and Microcontrollers

Specialty microprocessors and microcontrollers are specialty or proprietary products and accessories related to microprocessors and microcontrollers. Communication and electronic control is possible through the use of specialty microprocessors and microcontrollers. A specialty microcontroller is an integrated computer and is used for performing control and communication applications. A specialty microprocessor converts assembly level language into high-level language. The high-level language is understandable by the central processing unit present in the specialty microprocessor and it performs operations based on the inputs received from the central processing unit. There are many types of specialty microprocessors and microcontrollers. Examples include a PIC microprocessor and an AVR microcontroller. A PIC microprocessor is also known as a PIC microcontroller. It is a 28 pin microprocessor and belongs to a two-chip microprocessor family. An AVR microcontroller is used for tuning and reducing the size of the assembly language code written for performing the operation. An AVR microcontroller is best suited to reduce the need of external components required for completing the electronic circuit. Microprocessors are classified on the number of input pins present in it and hence there are 8 bit, 16 bit, and 32 bit microprocessor types. Other specialty microprocessors and microcontrollers are commonly available.
